it’s not bungie developing it, it’s 343 industries
well if that RTS game they made is any indicator of what halo 4 will be
then uh
well my hopes aren’t very high

halo 4 is gonna be the same old shit in slightly shinier wrapping. The multiplayer is probably gonna be fun, because that’s just how bungie rolls. The story is probably gonna be really mediocre, because that’s how bungie rolls.
I’m probably just going to play the first 2/3ds of it on my cousin’s xbox before he trades it in at gamestop.

There is just so much about COD that makes it harder to play when you’re new. COD makes it easy to be “good” so there is…
I’ll concede your point. it’s easier to be new at halo and keep playing than it is to be new at COD.

The multiplayer strongly resembles COD from what I’ve heard. And CODs multiplayer is incredibly broken, one of the staples of halo had always been a balanced multiplayer with an even playing field.
any given game is only a level playing field when everyone knows what they’re doing.
in COD, having a higher level loadout doesn’t do shit for you if you don’t know how to work the map. once you figure out how to keep an eye on your radar and pick the enemies out of the map terrain, you’re pretty much set. I think it treats experienced and inexperienced players the same.
Halo definitely doesn’t, though. Halo is funner to be bad at though, I guess, since you’re only dying every 4 seconds instead of every 0.1 seconds, so I guess you have a bit more time to learn things before you die.
but other than that, both games were very hard for me to get good at but once I figured out how to play I was only ever inhibited by modding, or latency. latency is just…something you can’t really defeat.
I suppose it will be unfortunate if halo tries to imitate cod, because that’s just trying to fix something that was already as close to perfect as you can get without nation wide fiber optic networks. but I think COD was also extremely fun and very fair when it comes to newbies versus oldbies.

Too bad it’s gonna be more like COD
COD is a good thing to be like
it looked pretty faithful to the usual halo style though?
